Patrick Strzelec

Garth Greenan Gallery is pleased to announce Patrick Strzelec, an exhibition of sculptures at 529 West 20th Street. Opening on Thursday, September 10, 2015, the exhibition is the artist’s first with Garth Greenan Gallery. Eight of the artist’s meticulously crafted mixed-media sculptures will be on view, as well as a selection of preparatory drawings. A fully illustrated catalogue will accompany the exhibition, with an essay by Jen Mergel.

The exhibition and its accompanying publication offer a detailed view of the artist’s work since 2011, a period of intense formal and technical innovation for the artist. Over the past five years, Strzelec has created a remarkable body of abstract sculpture in an incredibly diverse range of materials—aluminum, ceramic, epoxy, steel, and wood, to name a few.
